2 months...

So here we are in June...we have all survived 2 months!!!! yay!!! You all have changed so much. We went to the doctor this week and the biggest change is that Liam you weigh 10 lbs 2 oz and are 22.5" long and Leo you are 9 lbs 7 oz and 22" long. You both are getting so big! This month, Liam was first to transition from newborn to size 1 diapers and newborn to size 0-3 month clothes. Leo followed suit a week or so later. Leo, you can technically still fit in a a newborn diaper but we ran out and I'm not buying any more! Ha! You both are smiling and talking a lot more...you LOVE your big brother Eli and respond to him maybe more than anyone. Eli, you are still so sweet with them- they are YOUR babies and you call the "I-am" and "E-o"...you don't really say your "L's" yet. It's quite cute! Eli you also had your last day of school but that's for another post...you have changed so much in one school year!

Up until this past week, you all were still waking up at night every 2-3 hours...maybe 4 if we were lucky. We have tried a dream feed at 10:00 hoping that would stretch you, but Leo, nothing stretches you! I think Liam, you would sleep quite a while if we didn't have to wake you to keep you all on the same schedule. So about a week and a half ago we started putting you down around 7:00, not doing the dream feed, and you all have done pretty well. You get up between 1:00-2:00 (Sometimes a bit earlier) and we've even had a 2:30 and a 4:00. However, after that first feed it's all up in the air. Liam, you like to sometimes stay up or get up around 4:30 or 5:00. Your daddy has been so good and has taken the brunt of the nightshift (other than nursing) now that Gran and Oma aren't coming any more. We are surviving and things seem to be getting into routine. We are also trying to stick to more of a routine during the day which consists of eat, wake time until you seem tired, and then nap (a 2.5 hour schedule). Sometimes you all do flawlessly and sometimes we are all three crying to make it the 2.5 hours!

We have also experience our first full week at home alone with momma...daddy almost always takes Eli with him to Church. Praise God for daddy's flexible job. I'm sure we could handle it if we had to but I'm glad we don't have to find out! We have started going for more walks to the park with Eli and it's hit and miss whether you like the stroller. You also went to church for the first time on May 27th to hear daddy's sermon. Leo, you slept through it and brother got some Jesus in that morning! You are both liking your vibrating chair, swing and play mat more and more...Momma is very thankful for this. You also had your first babysitters- Cati and Brent while mom and dad went out for a bit, Mrs. Angela came one night and you all slept through it, and then Miss Emmy (Emily from church) came on momma's birthday.

This next month should be exciting...we are traveling to Ft.Smith, Greenwood, Charleston for daddy's Annual Conference and then the very next week, we are going to the beach with Oma and Pop. We'll see if we all survive these travels.

My 3 boys, life is somewhat difficult and frustrating through this phase but I wouldn't have it any other way. You are all blessings and I pray for each of you to be healthy, to always love and serve the Lord and to love each other. I think every day "I wonder what they'll be like when they are my age?" and I cannot wait to continue on this motherhood journey with your three precious souls.
